SLEEPLESS IN LATE CAPITALISM (2017)

Lonely between times. Isolated in battle. In the presence of the clashes, flashlights of the future and fading memories of past experiences meet. The burning torch gives the anonymous figure sparse light. The depression of the incapacity for action expresses the dystopian scene. The darkness is the only refuge, the muffled face the only facial expression. Stoically, the individual resists the raging streams of late capitalism. There is only the now. Never sleep again, the fight is taken!

The exhibition set consists of film projection and a motion sensor. By moving the receiver, the disturbance images are displayed, if they stop, the protagonist remains standing. They stand as long as the recipient remains immovable.
